“My Boudoir Experience….” A Clients Perspective….

We love hearing from our clients and having them share their luxury boudoir photo session experience at our Sugar & Spice Moments Indianapolis photo studio!

Ms M gave us permission to share her personal experience with our boudoir studio, and her reasons for doing a shoot with us…….

“All right ladies, let me lay some truths down for y'all! 

I had so many reservations about doing this shoot. Why? Well, I had done two prior shoots and both shoots were just meh. My first one, I was super nervous and couldn't relax any RBF off my face for the life of me! My second one, I felt that my photographer didn't research poses for me, but used the same poses for each client…. some poses were NOT flattering at all and was just yuck! 

So why did I go through with this? Well, they say third time is a charm, so why not!? Was I nervous? You best believe it! But that went away in what? Maybe 10 minutes? At that point the robe came off (literally) and we were laughing, making funny faces, and joking around - some of my best candid shots were from just goofing off!!! When we got serious, we got shots like these. Shots that I never would have imagined would look good or make me see myself differently. 

Would I do this again?? In an absolute heartbeat! I'd do all the sessions if I could!!! I did this for me. I did this for part of my journey of loving myself, seeing myself through the eyes of someone else. 

Here are some facts:

☆ Your body shape is researched before your shoot so you pose in the most flattering ways. Amanda demonstrates how to do them and modifies if need be - she does amazing with this by the way, I struggled with some, but she showed me in more ways than one!

☆ You DO NOT have to wear lingerie to feel sexy, beautiful, or to feel empowered! 

☆ They have an AMAZING client closet to choose from! Trust me, I had nothing cute, sexy, or that ooh la la factor in mine.

☆ It's OKAY to be nervous. It's OKAY to laugh. Be upfront and honest with how you're feeling throughout your shoot!!!

☆ You can say NO to anything you don't feel comfortable with doing

☆ You can suggest poses you want to do

☆ You will leave the studio feeling so confident and beautiful!! 

Y'all this is ALL about you! This is about empowering you. This is about making you look and feel beautiful. I went into this session nervous, not super awesome feeling about myself, legit said I have no boobs and I didn't love my body. After seeing my photos, I do have boobs (heh, who knew! LOL) and my body is beautiful!
