Choosing an outfit for your luxury photo session at our Indianapolis boudoir photography studio doesn’t have to be a challenge. With the right mindset and resources, you can let go of your shopping anxiety and walk away with pieces that you feel confident and sexy in for your big day!
So what’s the game plan?
First, it’s key that you’re shopping for the right size. Every woman’s body is unique, and after getting fitted and measured a lot of women learn that they’ve been wearing ill-fitting bras their entire lives! Consultations at Victoria Secret are an old classic, and they’re now offered both in-person and online. Soma is another good choice if you’re a 36DD or more. If you are unsure on sizing, especially when shopping online, it is best to go up a size for a boudoir photo session so that the lingerie doesn’t create bulges, which are unflattering in your images. If the lingerie fits well overall, but is a little big in some places, that’s okay! We have solutions in the studio to help with these wardrobe malfunctions! Now, shopping is the fun part! The most important thing to keep in mind, is that you’re shopping for you. Your photos will look their best if you feel confident in what you’re wearing, and this means staying true to yourself when you’re making your selections. Although a little detail on the back creates a great booty shot! If you’re feeling unsure about your picks, always know that you can reach out to us for assurance and assistance! Even Amazon has a great range of lingerie that you can purchase in multiple sizes, try on, and send anything back that either doesn’t fit good or isn’t quite you.
We also offer our own in-house size inclusive Client Closet that is available to you for your photo shoot! Currently ranging from a Small to a 3XL, we have something for everyone! We’ve specially curated our closet for boudoir, and our Creative Director helps each client find items that will work with their body shape, skin tone, hair and eye color – the whole nine yards! Each client also has the option to try multiple items to find what works and to make sure you LOVE what you are wearing for your photo shoot. We’ve been amazed at how popular our Client Closet is, with clients who have brought items with them for their boudoir photo session often exclusively using items we have in the studio!
