Ms. T’s Boudoir Experience

Shooting people of all ages, body types and backgrounds is one of the things we pride ourselves in. As a sixty something, Ms. T wanted to do something she had never dreamed of doing before and wanting to fall back in love with her changing body. Here’s what she said about her experience with us:

Have you ever done a boudoir photo shoot before?

No, this was my first time.

Why did you do a boudoir shoot?

In the past, I would have said for someone else. Now my answer is I did it for myself. Trying to get my confident, bad ass feeling back after some life challenges and weight gain over the last few years.

What was your favorite part of the session?

Every part! From the hair and makeup to the wardrobe selection, and the actual photo shoot (once I relaxed). Amanda and Wilson are awesome to work with, and I can't wait to get my album and see the finished product. Chelsey was my hair and makeup artist, and she's sweet and her work is awesome! Oh, and I can't forget the studio (emotional support) dogs, Charlie and Sophie. From what I understand, they aren't always there, but I'm glad they were during my session.

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth and self image?

I've always felt worthy, but it certainly helped with my confidence. I'm at my heaviest weight ever, so the thought of posing in lingerie in front of a camera was intimidating, but oh so freeing!

Was your experience what you were expecting?

Yes, and then some! Once I got past the initial nervousness, it was fun!

What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?

I wouldn't change a thing!

Would you recommend a friend?

Definitely!

Is there anything else you would like to tell us?

Amanda & Wilson are very respectful and professional, and you can tell they enjoy their job. Thank you!

I think you’ll agree, for a sixty-something, Ms. T smashed her boudoir photo shoot!
